Starting his career as a Post-graduate Teacher in Chemistry in a public school, he took over as a Principal of Hindu Senior secondary School, Chennai. He joined the Central Board of Secondary Education as a Joint Secretary in 1984 and has worked in several capacities in Academics, Examination, Confidential and Administration branches of CBSE. Elevated to the Post of Director (Academic) in 1997, he held the additional charge of the Chief Vigilance Officer of the Board.

Major General N K Dhir is an Engineer, a textile technologist and an M. Tech in systems and management from IIT Delhi. He has had three years research experience in the field of “Organizational Effectiveness” at IIT New Delhi.
An alumnus of National Defence Academy Khadakvasla, he was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers of Indian Army in Dec.1965. He saw action in SHAKARGARH sector in INDO – PAK war of 1971. He was selected for Quality Assurance assignment in Defense, where he made his mark and served in various key appointments.
He is a member of the BIS Committee on Quality Management Systems and has represented India at the ISO meeting held at Bucharest (Romania) in 2003 and at Beijing (China) in 2011. He is the convener for the panel constituted for formulation of an Indian Standard on QMS – Requirements for Service Quality by Public Service Organizations, IS – 15700;2005. National Accreditation Board for Education & Training (NABET) a constituent of Quality Council of India (QCI) has appointed him as Assessor, Counselor and Trainer for quality in education, training, including vocational training and various Management related courses.
He was Director, Defense Institute of Quality Assurance, Bangalore, and later Director (Policy, Planning and Training) at the HQ DGQA. He is the founder Director of National Academy for Training and Development (NATAD) – an institution under the aegis of Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD). Dr. Nancy is Associate Professor, Department of Humanities & Social Sciences at National Institute of Technology, Srinagar Kashmir. Dr. Nancy Handoo has been part of ELT brigade for 21 years. An avid observer of ELT scenario in India, she actively promotes action research and class room observation, through research, writing and teacher training.

Adhering to the belief that the dynamism of the language teaching paradigm in India needs innovation and experiments, her endeavour through articles, research papers is to sensitize teachers to pedagogic practices and their far reaching impact on all aspects of student education.

Dr. Nancy is a conscientious teacher. Her passion for language drove her to the University of Leads (U.K) for specialization in Teaching of English Language after obtaining Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching of English from CIEFL (Hyderabad) a Deemed University. Prior to her joining REC now NIT, Srinagar, she was a trainer in the Govt. College of Education, Srinagar; where she used to teach in-service/pre-service teachers. In her present assignment she has attempted to enrich her students with both oral / written communication skills.

Her teaching career spread over two and half decades has provided her an input as to why the students are not able to confront efficiently and effectively communication both during their professional studies and in their professional career. This situation made her undertake a study through research so as to suggest measures to make the students proficient in communicative skills. The study was conducted by her at the University of Jammu, Department of English, the topic on which she worked was: “Bilingualism and Communicative Approach to Language Teaching: A study of English language teaching and learning at Secondary level in the Jammu region.”

She was awarded Ph.D. for this Work.She has participated in number of conferences/ Seminars both at National and International levels and has made her contributions through presentation of papers which were received very well. Dr Arjun Badlani is an expert in Quality and Productivity in both K-12 as well as Higher education and management . He is a Professional Life Member of the Quality Council of India (QCI), the Apex National Body for promoting Quality and Accreditation Structure in India that has a vision of “Quality for National Well Being”. He served the National Accreditation Board for Education and training (NABET) a constituent board of the Quality Council of India (QCI)I, as Advisor, Principal Assessor and Lead Trainer for K-12 school improvement from 2008 onward. He also formulated Criteria for Quality Standards of Education Organizations for Quality Council of India and Bureau of Indian Standards. Worked with Govt. and private organizations across India for quality improvement and accreditation of about 70 organizations in K-12 sector. He has also served as Advisor, Quality, (2003-2007) to Darshan Education Foundation that runs 20 schools in India and abroad with a vision of education for a peaceful world. Mr. P. S. Kalra is M.Sc (Mathematics) B.Ed. He has a teaching experience of over 24 years. He has served at various positions in most prestigious schools of India. He has been instrumental in training students and teachers at various levels.
He is associated with C. B. S. E. as Head Examiner / Member inspection committees, Observer and Mentor of CCE training and Resource Person for various CBSE initiatives like CCE & SGAI etc. His main interest is in developing innovative strategies in teaching of Mathematics to make learning Joyful. Mr. Vikram Dutt is a Consultant in Inclusion in Education; Media and Corporate governance. He has been a visiting fellow to the U.S., Italy, Germany, and the UK. As Secretary of the Board of Management, he helped establish the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre in New Delhi and later worked as its first Chairman of Rehabilitation. He has also served as secretary of the Indo-US sub-commission on spinal injury research. He is a Founder Member of the Forum of Public Schools; which was started 26 years ago. He has been associated with many schools, including his alma mater, Delhi Public School, Mathura Road; from where he passed out as Head Boy in 1967, winning the School Games Jersey and the Vice President of India Silver Medal for Outstanding All-Round Student. Mr. Dutt is the author of over 250 publications. He is a former Editor of the Indian Journal of Disability and Rehabilitation. He also serves on the editorial board of several technical international journals, including Sexuality and Disability, a field in which he specializes. He has taught as well as been Paper Setter and Examiner at Kurukshetra, Jamia Hamdard, and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Universities as well as taught at Bhoj Open University and Indian Institute of Mass Communication, as visiting faculty. His subjects are varied and include Special Education, Ethics in Management, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation; and Social Communication. He also serves on the Vice Chancellor’s High Powered Committee at Punjabi University, Patiala. His international honours include ‘500 Intellectuals to Influence Contemporary Thought’ and ‘Man of the Year’ and ‘Man of the Decade’ Awards, all from USA. He has been felicitated by the Chairperson of the British House of Lords Committee on Disability. He has also won several awards in India for his work with the disadvantaged. Currently, he serves as the Thematic Head for Positive Mental Health for Children for Quality Institutional Care and Alternatives for Children (QIC&AC) – a confederation of over 30 NGOs.
